Food carnival to showcase India flavours

THE Indian Ladies Association's (ILA) amidst flavor - Zaike ka Safar - food festival will be detained from 5pm on Friday at the Indian club in Manama. The carnival is a combined festivity that is being detained to mark the New Year festivities in different Indian states like Vishu in Kerala, Gudi Padva in Andhra Pradesh, Bihu in Assam, Baisakhi in Punjab, Chetichand, Ugadi, Novroz, Bengali New Year, Tamil New Year and other related celebrations that normally indication the advent of spring and a good harvest. It will be an occasion to enjoy with your family and friends.

Entertainment

"There will be lots of entertainment for all age groups as well as dances, face painting, DJ music, henna, jewellery and not to overlook delicious food from different parts of India." The occasion will element an array of stalls providing cuisine from a number of Indian states together with Punjab, Gujarat, Assam, Bengal, Kerala, Mahrashtra, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Entrance to the event is 200 fills and free to children aged 12 years and under.
