Food carnival to showcase India flavours
THE Indian Ladies Association's (ILA) amidst flavor - Zaike ka Safar - food festival will be detained from 5pm on Friday at the Indian club in Manama. The carnival is a combined festivity that is being detained to mark the New Year festivities in different Indian states like Vishu in Kerala, Gudi Padva in Andhra Pradesh, Bihu in Assam, Baisakhi in Punjab, Chetichand, Ugadi, Novroz, Bengali New Year, Tamil New Year and other related celebrations that normally indication the advent of spring and a good harvest.
