Animals banquet on free 'omelettes'

Batlagundu, Tamil Nadu - Wild and domestic animals just as have a day-long feast of "omelettes" on Friday in this spice town of Tamil Nadu, all thankfulness to a truck accident!

"A truck carrying more than 100,000 eggs from Namakkal to Kerala upturned here. The boiling heat (over 40 degrees Celsius) crooked the broken eggs into omelettes. Foxes, stray dogs, domestic cats and birds have been incessantly gorging on the free food here," said S Balanagamma, a local resident who observer the atypical feast.
