Celestial Wedding at Chennai

Attired in traditional marriage wear and bejeweled in glitzy ornaments, Lord Srinivasa and goddess Sridevi and Bhoodevi obtainable a celestial picture for the several devotees. The elaborate arrangements made by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) for the celestial wedding, nearly a one lakh people crowd among the island grounds. The wedding of the Lord Srinivasa and goddess Sridevi and Bhoodevi is specially arranged for the peoples who cannot spend the money for organizing the marriage at Tirumala. Flat-screen monitors also arranged for devotees those who seated faraway from the stage.
The `purohits' chant mantras on the microphone and the ceremony were executed according to the Agamas. Famous Tamil singer Seergazhi Siva Chidambaram begins the evening's events, by exposé Tamil and Telugu symphony on Lord Srinivasa, also known traditionally as Lord Balaji. Through Tamil commentary to explain the service, the viewers had information of the reasons following each ritual. Security arrangements were also in place, maintaining in view the estimated huge crowd of people for the evening. More than one lakh people witnessed the celestial wedding of Lord Srinivasa in Chennai on Sunday.
