Deepavali is commemorated in India and across the world on Amaavasya, (i.e.), the 15th nighttime of the gloomy castle night of the month of October or November. The word "Divali" is a deviation of the Sanskrit speech Deepavali, Deepa denote light and Avali, denote a row. This festival celebration refers to as Divali, Diwali, Dipavali and Deepavali along with other deviation. In general, though, it is regard as the Festival of Lights. By tradition, Divali is obvious by the lights of deeyas which are made from clay and fill up with ghee or oil. Devotees also unsoiled their homes and environment, put on new clothes and give contributions to the needy.
