Dharmapuri is a city and the administrative headquarters of Dharmapuri district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located 65 km north of Salem. It is a part of the Kongu Nadu region of Tamil Nadu ruled by the ancient Western Ganga Dynasty.
